Inclement Weather?? Your husband is out golfing or fishing? Then come down to our classroom! We have machines and cutting equipment that you can use.

Available most days throughout the year except Tuesdays or if a class is scheduled. Call ahead.

Cost is $5.00 and you will need to have your own thread. We have kits and small projects available. It's always sunny in our classroom.

     Summer 2009

  •  Fabric of the Kewaunee Lakeshore - National Quilt Show - Sponsored by the Agricultural Heritage and Resources Inc, the show will be presented at the Heritage Farm, N2251 State Hwy 42, Kewaunee WI (South of Kewaunee as you head to Two Rivers). Dates are Friday, Aug 14 (12-8pm), Saturday Aug 15 (10am to 4pm) and Sunday Aug 16 (10am to 4pm). Show will include a Quilt Raffle, great food, exibits, 2 galleries, and learning opertunities.

  •  Come Quilt With Me & Pat Yamin - with special guests Helen Squire, Ami Simms and Betty Boyink-Roberts at the Brook Lodge Executive Resort in Augusta MI, Aug 24 - 27, 2009. For more information click on the link for their website - www.comequiltwithme.com

  •  Operation Snuggles - Barn Door Quilts participates in "Operation Snuggles", a program that provides a warm and snuggly quilt for the children of our military men and women serving abroad. There will be many deployed service members from our area in the coming months and we would like to be able to give each of their children a warm quilt to snuggle into. Quilts that would be appropriate for babies, children and teenagers are welcome. Crocheted and knitted afghans are also welcomed. Drop off your items at the shop for forwarding.
